Man what a week-end... Tami, Sami and I went early to get an earfull of bluegrass and boy did we. We got in later than we had hoped to on Th (thanx to I95) but we got to visit with and hear Randy Waller and the Country Gents, a bit of Larry Stephenson's show, David Peterson and of course I couldn't miss Larry Sparks...he is the singer! He played several requests from the audience and what can you say about his gospel singing, very heartfelt and convincing! Fri found us in the company of The Isaacs, The Lewis Family, Doyle Lawson, The Grascals & perhaps one of the top two shows of the day The Gary Waldrep Band... all put on a good show but I'll tell ya this, GWB has a really great group these days, don't miss a chance to see them... and of course you can't beat the vocals and musicianship of the Isaacs...Sonya sings like nonother Sat brought on David Parmley, Lou Reid, The Lewis Family, Cherryholmes, Dr Ralph, and Carolina Road... Little Roy was his usual self and brought the crowd to tears of laughter...Cherryholmes was in fine form as was the rest of the groups that were on the line-up...we got to visit a long time with Jeri & Sandy and we are looking forward to Feb going sailing with them on the ETA BG Cruise.
