The Stanley brothers are fantastic, and I cannot believe we are even having to sign this.  But I am, without hesitation.  They are so talented, I am privileged to know that they exist.

I was born and raised about two mountains over from Ralph and Carters home place. The Stanley Brothers are greatly Loved and appreciated in the hills of VA, and KY. I found out after traveling many years myself that the Stanley brothers are loved and respected all over the world!
  They both definetely deserve to be placed in the Hall of Fame and should of been when the hall was opened !!!

To Jeannie Stanley: I hope my vote helps you, and I'm proud of you for preserving your daddy's name. He would be pleased and I know Ralph and his family are.................................................JOE CLARK

Gracie muldoon and the WWB set up this petition. to make it easier for us to sign it, i have signed it . i am sure many more would sign it. (i know as i was just at a festival and took paper ones. also they were available at the stanley festival. becky gors and of ceder valley bluegrass as does lori king of the bluegrass addiction band . they mention it during their shows along with the mention of the WWB. last week end we got 41 more signatures. they are not competing in this they are just trying to help. I want to thank them for their help. if you do not sign here then perhaps ask at festivals yiou attend if they AVE ANY AVAILABLE TO SIGN.. it is so easy to sign it here. myself i feel we owe the stanleys that much. (Just my opinion) at least i feel i owe them that much I wish to thank gracie for starting this petition.

this is so beautiful. You know... this is country's purest music... and the greats like these should never have to wait in any line up. I have to say... am very surprised and disheartened how difficult a process this seems to be for country music heroes who will be remembered throughout history when all else is gone. How interesting ... I tried to post on a few boards but got nailed... at CMT and rightfully so I guess; however... what about a MYSPACE page and YOUTUBE and interlink them in some way back here for signatures. Gracie... young SAM (we are huge billy currington fans... and she is 17 and brilliant on the computer) could probably help us out here.... the young... the internet is definitely for the young today... but it is only a tool right? Could we do this administrators.... you know we could even design the sheet and the myspace and youtube visitors or members could complete them on line. would it offend anyone if I checked it out with Sam and Tom of MySpace and billy c's Angels. You know... am in my 60s... and when my mind gets made up... it gets made up. surely... we could have a beautiful bluegrass myspace that would draw attention to some incredibly beautiful music. Hugs from old momma Nova.
