 I hope that Ralph and Carter Stanley are inducted into the Hall of Fame.. they are true pioneers of music that have influenced an incredible number of artists.. not only in bluegrass but other genres as well. They are timeless.

Why Would They want to be in the country music hall of fame, they didnt play country music no how, They should be in the Bluegrass hall of fame although they didnt play bluegrass either, They played Mountain Music, which is not even close to Country music!!!!

JIMMY; IN MY OPINION THE BLUEGRASS O0F TO0DAY IS MORE LIKE WHAT COU7NTRY USED TO BE. THERE ACTUALY IS NO COUNTRY ANYM0RE. tHE STANLEY BROTHERS DID HOWEVER HELP PAVE THE WAY F0R TODAY'S BLUEGRASS MUSIC AND HAVE KEPT THE MTN SOUND. THEY HAVE EARNED ALL THE CREDITS IN ANY F0RM OF MUSIC.
iN MY OPINION THEY SHOULD BE IN TYHE COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AS WELL AS THE BLUEGRASS HALL OF FAME. NO DOUBT ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL GROUPS TO INFLUENCE OTHERS. REGARDLESS OF WHAT WE CALL IT THE STANLEYS HAVE PAID THIER DUES. I VENTURE TO SAY JUST AS MUCH AS BILL MONROE. FLATT AND SCRUGGS. aLL GREAT INFLUENCES BUT STILL THE STANLEYS HAVE DONE THIER SHARE . tHE TTANLEYS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN RESPECTED FOR THEIR mUSIC BOTH AS CO0UNTRY AND AS BLUEGRASS AS WELL AS THE MTN MUSIC. IT IS ONLY RIGHT THAT THEY BE RECO0GNIZED FOR THEIR CONTRUIBUTIONS. LOTS OF N0N COUNTRY ARTIST HAVE BEEN RECOGNIZED . iT IS TOO LATE FOR CARTER TO SEE THIS HAPPEN AND THAT IS A SHAME HOWEVER DR RALPH STILL HAS A CHANCE . IT IS TYHE RIGHT THING TO DO
