I'd like to mention several friends/folks for adding to your prayer list.. if you pray daily.. please remember my requests..

Carrie Schultz - (my daughter in law)who has surgery scheduled for the day after Christmas - Dec 26, th Carrie is mommy of .3 month old Colton, my first grandchild. - she has a growth in her neck which was discovered at her 6 week check up after having Colton. She is having the goiter removed - please pray it is benign and that she wont have to take medication the rest of her life.

Friend - Sandy Johnson /KY for healing - 4th state of cancer - Sandy is a wonderful person was our church song leader, church kindergarten teacher - and a wonderful friend to our entire family. We love her and miss her. She is in the hospital in Newport Ky.

Friend - Fred Leonard /Cincinnati/Oh - for healing.. of brain tumor. Fred is a singer/songwriter in Cincy.. and you can read more about him at www.fredleonardmusic.com or www.cdbaby.com/fredleonard Fred is taking aggressive action and researching his disease and would be glad to share any info he's learned with anyone.

Friend - Todd Taylor (the banjoman) www.toddtaylorbanjoman.com. Todd has a twin brother as some of you may remember the Taylor Twins - his name is Allen. Allen has contracted merca, which is a skin eat bacteria, has lost an arm and maybe soon his legs... or life. Please pray for Allen - that he will recover from this devastating illness that affects soldliers returning from IRAQ and their families.

Friend- Matt Ford's (runawayfreight.com) nephew Tanner 4 yrs old - healing of pneumonia - Matt says Tanner is his youngest and biggest fan... knows all the words.. to the songs on his first cd.

Always keep the troops of the US and our Allies in prayers.. Always and Daily.

There is a lady who visits a relative in the rest home where my mom lives and where I play every week for two hours and other times. This lady would pass me and somehow I got the urge to invite her to sing. I kept this up every time I saw her over the next three years. She kept giving me excuses. Then one day she came to me and offered a date in January and we made sketchy plans for her performance.

Yesterday she called and said she had to cancel it as her cancer has returned and she would need to save her energy to fight it. I promised I would pray for her and I ask you to join me.

Now here's the strange part, although the lady seemed familiar to me, I don't even know her name. But God knows!

friend Marie from Ga her husband has skin cancer and is in stage 3. pray for both of them and her family. Marie listens here more than participates in the chat. But they do need our prayers GOD BLESS

For Leroy and his brother and his family.. in the Loss of their Son, Leroy's nephew.

The Nephew has 2 little girls 12 and 8 left behind without their daddy. It will be a sad Christmas - please keep them all in prayers.

Also for the Fannie Watts family - who lost Fannie their mother - a childhood friend of mine Brenda Watts... please keep that family in prayers for comfort from the LOrd

Please keep my daughter, Pam, and her husband, Brian, in your prayers as they travel to Oklahoma for the funeral of Brian's 92 year old grandfather who passed away Monday. Brain has wonderful memories of his grandfather and his passing is a great loss to the family. Please pray for everyone's safety in their travels and God's comfort and healing for the whole family.

leroy lunsford's nephew (left 2 daughters without their daddy) ken died last week in car accident.

homer ledford's family (died monday) (bluegrass legend)

randall deaton lost his dad..today.. remember them as well.

Thank you gracie, Call me an old softie if anyone wishes but the one i talk to most is the lord. I know we pray for the individules but so often we forget the ones that suffer as well (friends and family. ) I know the lord hears my prayers but it is god's will that i ultimately ask for god give us the strength Sometimes we have to face the hard things to make us stronger. i pray for all the ones you listed and their families and will pray for any that i hear about. There truly is power in prayer. everyone let god know and thank him for all our blessings

I had no shoes and i complained untill i met someone with no feet I truly am blessed.

THANKS to everyone who prayed for mom... today. She came thru the angiogram ok.. with 2 small blockages they said were insignificant and 2 that were blockages and not so insignificant but that they would treat with meds..and not surgery.

She got a little sick toward the end of the angiogram and they had to put her to sleep after that - but after feeling a little woozie.. she's back at home and doing ok.

Thanks to my Christian prayer partners - for sending up the signal to our Holy Father - I am praising His Beautiful Name - all day - and night.

PLEASE ADD THE VT STUDENTS AND PROFS THAT WERE KILLED THIS PAST MONDAY.

WHAT A SAD DAY FOR THE COLLEGE, THE STATE, THE NATION.. INDEED THE WORLD.

REMEMBE ALSO THEIR FRIENDS, AND FAMILIES THAT ARE HEARTBROKEN AND ASK THE GOOD LORD ABOVE TO COMFORT THEM WITH HIS BLANKET OF PEACE AND LOVE.

hi everyone

with a broken heart.. i report to ya that my friend sandy johnson from newport kentucky passed away july 12th 2007. she was a dear friend and a sister in Christ and I hope to someday see her again...

keep her family, especially her son Curt in your prayers.. he now lives alone, because sandy's husband doug is in a nursing home with alzheimers and continues to need your prayers.

thanks agian for all the prayers - they were much appreciated... she lived 3 yrs after discovering her cancer in the 4th stage.. so she was thankful for every day she got after that.....

so were her friends and family....

Please pray for my daddy.. Rev Carl Howard.. who will need to have unclogged the last carotid artery that goes to his brain on the right side.. in the next few weeks... no surgery date as of yet.

over 7 yrs ago.. his artery to his brain on his left side.. completely shut down and daddy didnt even have a stroke.. the Lord was with him.. and the doctors couldnt believe it..

but now the only one left.. the right one will have to be cleared out.. as it is blocking up and he will need much prayer.. to keep him safe during this difficult operation...

please pray he has no stroke and that he survive this difficult procedure.

Hi, I'm new to this site. I would like to ask for prayers for our friend Larry Jackson, a banjo player and Vietnam vet. He had a stroke a few weeks ago and has been hopitalized since then. He is improving, but still has a long way to go. Larry and his wife Ginger are great folks.
Also, my family and I would always appreciate being included in your prayers.

Hi Dale... and welcome to the WWB Forums. Hope you're a listener too.
We play alot of local folks' from Cincinnati and other places... so hope you stay tuned in and let others know about us.

We sure will pray for Larry.... also would like you and your prayerful friends to remember my daddy, Rev Carl Howard of Newport who will have surgery August 3, 2007 at 11 am for angioplasty "uncloggin" to the carotid artery going to his brain on the right side. The left side closed down years ago and he survived even without a stroke.. but this is especially risky because its all he has left.

Thanks for the prayers everyone - daddy came thru splendidly and has a new stint in his neck in the carotid artery to his brain! It was a success! Two days before the procedure (thanks Medicare for paying the bulk of the $40,000 bill!) my sister Rosemary had a mild heart attack and tho' she's back home her heart did sustain damage.

She is only 54 (the 27th of this month) and I would appreciate so very much for prayers for her too....

Also for Gary Booher and his family - he lost his daddy today. Gary is a dj here at the WWB and I can honestly say I've not met a finer individual. I'm sure his dad was no less.. and Gary will aprpeciate any prayers for them.

God bless all of my "prayer warrior" friends!

ps.. don harris has broke his hip and is in temporarily in a nursing home- and also needs to be lifted up.

Lots to pray about!
