Greetings from the UK

Hi y'all, how are ya?

I'm Dan from UK band Papa Truck. We're based near London and are spreading the bluegrass word over here. (You may have heard us on here on the WWB. Geoff Morris played  the track "Rebound Love" before his pilgrimage to the States.  Gracie has heard it too and says it's a great album!  Not sure if she's played it on her show?  Have you Gracie?)

O' Brother was my first real taste of the grass, as it was for many people over here and it's led to a real expansion in the genre with bands like ours filtering through now that we have got to grips with our instruments... just about!  There are some great banjo players over here, like Leon Hunt, John Dowling and Richard Collins.

Anyway, I love it. It has really changed my life. Thank you USA! (I switched from rock guitar to banjo in 2004)

We'd love to hear what you guys think so let us know here or at:

myspace.com/papatruck

More track at:

CD Baby

and

itunes

Thanks

Dan

Hey Dan. I may not be a DJ here (at present) but I still like to come into the chat room on occasion to chat with fellow grassers. Plus that's how I found out about Papa Truck. Now I play your songs on The Fitz Mix in Fairfax,VA.  I hope your band has continued success and thank you for "grassifying" yourselves. I also am hooked on Bluegrass. I consided it one the last vestiges of good music left overall. Fitz
