monday night at the arts guild 8th oct jane and myself were in the balcony being entertained by two fantastic bluegrass bands [the hunger mountain boys] and[ the earl brothers ]all acoustic instruments and standing round one mike the people of greenock loved it the skill in playing there instruments and the real raw harmanies got whooops and whistles of appreitiation and pure excitment both bands had to do an oncore the last 3 tunes the earl brothers did was joined by the fiddle player of the hunger moutain boys with his whole body moving with the flow of the bow and the bass player from the earl brothers actually spinning his double bass like a top the whole audience upproard with cheers and applause ......hope i dont have to wait to long for the next bluegrass band to visit the west coast of scotland]
