I just wanted to have a space for those who lost and knew folks at VT - to have a place to post remembrances or prayers and well wishes for those that suffer from that tragic day in April 2007. If you'd like to express wishes here .. by verse or poem, or just a thought of hope - please feel free to do so. I'll start here, with a poem to the Hokies, and those that love them - which is - all of us.
Of all the things I never knew - I never knew that I'd lose you. You went to school on a sunny day - but the Angel of Death took you away. He was not my friend nor yours.
I'll hold your memories close in my heart from there no one can tear you apart. He cannot hurt you anymore.
You were my husband, child and friend I will always love you to the end. He will never rise again.

the pain has to be indescribable... we really need to pray for those affected....
my son in 6th grade... had 2 bomb threats called into his school this week... 2 days in a row....
this whole world seems to have gone crazy.... when all we need is love for each other.... if only it were possible to spread it around - in all corners of the earth....which is what we're trying to do here ... lift up the down trodden with a happy little song ---
too much hate ---way too much -- need to go back to the core inside ourselves... and remember that the most important thing in this world - is Love. God is love.
