WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?? (OR AM I??)

Hello all.  Why can't I get into chat easily?
I click on chat, a screen shows up that says "no password needed,
please enter your real name." I do that, and ERROR shows up.

I then enter my screen name (that's my real name) of dmiller,
along with my password for here.
Next thing I know -- I need to download the chat room.
Even with the download, error shows up more often than not.
Even after it gets downloaded to my desktop,
clicking on the download doesn't guarantee that I'll get in to chat here.

Maybe this chat room isn't compatible with FireFox.
(I have FireFox 2.0 on a Mac with Mac OS X 10.3.9 system).

I also have Safari as a browser (made for Mac),
and have trouble getting into chat with it also.
Is there something I can do to click on the chat option,
and get immediate access?

And I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section of the Forums here --
I wasn't sure where it would fit, so I chose this one.

The times I have gotten into chat, I've enjoyed it immensely.
I'd like that option more often, if possible.

So -- am I doing something wrong - or is it because I'm on a Mac?
Color me CLUELESS in Minney-soda!

All other sites that offer chat rooms, I click, and I'm in.
Do I need to do something here on my end,
to alleviate the *back and forth* I'm experiencing here?

I'm sorry you're having difficulties getting into the chatroom.  First go to your programs.. and delete the ivocalize.exe program.  Then go back to the site and re download.  Sign in with Mr Miller or just your first name.  YOU NEVER NEED A PASSWORD FOR CHATROOM!!

Now.. if there is someone in the room.. with the same first name... like if you signed in with david and there is someone else in there with david.. you must put like  or miller...

just be sure no one has logged in with the exact same first name if you are using first names.. or the exact same last name...

Thanks Gracie.  I don't know how to find the ivocalize.exe program.
I logged in the chat room via Safari last night,
and managed to get in with less problems, than before.

I appreciate the help.

Didn't try to get in tonight (shoveling snow here!),
but I'll give it a try tomorrow.

My girlfriend Holly uses a mac. Let me find out from her what program she uses when she comes into chat sometimes and we'll take it from there.

From what you are telling me, there's no reason for it not to work. Stay tuned.....
