He Walks With Me

 I wrote this several years ago and it helps me sometimes to go back and remind myself How much I need God and prayer in my life.   I hope someone else finds comfort in the words.   I copyright under SunRae'.  Blessing and prayers for all.    Mary LaTray Mills


HE WALKS WITH ME

He walks with me in sadness
He quietly feels my pain
He wraps loving arms around me
Protects me from the rain


I go to him in moments,
of quiet desperation
I leave the shell of life I live
For peaceful contemplation



He is always waiting there
with outstreched arms for me
With every doubt I bring him
They are cast into the sea


He reaches out with loving heart
Makes each day new again
From depths of insanity
Brings clarity from within


If you ask me if he's real?
As real, as real can be
For on my darkest, saddest day
He saved a soul like me!

Beautiful, Mary! Very touching and so true. Thanks for sharing that. I'd include reading it during the prayer list on my show, but I know I couldn't get through it without crying, so I'll just tell folks to get over here and read it!
