Jerry Douglas keynote speech at IBMA

I was visiting the Bluegrass Blog and happened upon the Keynote speech from the IBMA's by Jerry Douglas basically discussing the state of bluegrass and its bright future. I thought it might be an interesting read for the WWB folks. We all have a common bond of having a great love of bluegrass music. We all have our differences and it is that amazing common bond which brings us all together even with all our diversity in musical tastes....To me that is so special and that is what I love about WWB. What a truly special place to be able to share my love of bluegrass.


Thank you are for sharing that common bond with me. That Love of Bluegrass !!!!!!!

Yep.. great speech .. jerry had obviously given that one a lot of thought.. and translated his thoughts to the public.. very well.
