A LIST OF JUST WHO IS IN THE COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME!

sINCE WE'VE STARTED THE PETITION FOR THE STANLEY BROTHERS & OSBORNE BROTHERS TO GET THEM INTO THE CMA  HALL OF FAME - I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO WRITE THEM - AND FIND OUT WHO WAS IN THERE.  AFTER CLICKING ON THE SITE - AND SENDING IN AN EMAIL.. HERE WAS THE ANSWER I GOT FROM A NICE LADY WHO RESPONDED WITHIN TWO HOURS!

Answer:
Dear Gracie,
Thank you for your inquiry. I researched your question and came up with the following list for you:

This is a list of inductees to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Number of Inductees (counting groups as a single inductee): 98

(counting each inductee only once in the category they fit best in)

Male Vocalists (41): Roy Acuff, Bill Anderson, Eddy Arnold, Gene Autry, Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash, Vernon Dalhart, Jimmie Davis, Little Jimmy Dickens, Red Foley, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Lefty Frizzell, Don Gibson, Merle Haggard, Sonny James, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Roger Miller, Bill Monroe, George Morgan, Willie Nelson, Buck Owens, Webb Pierce, Elvis Presley, Ray Price, Charley Pride, Jim Reeves, Tex Ritter, Marty Robbins, Jimmie Rodgers, Roy Rogers, Carl Smith, Hank Snow, George Strait, Hank Thompson, Floyd Tilman, Ernest Tubb, Conway Twitty, Porter Wagoner, Hank Williams, Faron Young

Male Entertainers (8): Johnny Bond, Bill Carlisle, George D. Hay, Grandpa Jones, Pee Wee King, Uncle Dave Macon, Merle Travis, Bob Wills

Female Vocalists (7): Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Montana, Dolly Parton, Kitty Wells, Tammy Wynette

Comedians (4): Rod Brasfield, The Duke of Paducah, Homer and Jethro, Minnie Pearl

Instrumentalists (4): Chet Atkins, Harold Bradley, DeFord Bailey, Floyd Cramer

Vocal Groups (8): Alabama, The Carter Family, The Delmore Brothers, The Everly Brothers, Flatt and Scruggs, The Jordainaires, The Louvin Brothers, Sons of the Pioneers

Songwriters (4): Boudleaux and Felice Bryant, Harlan Howard, Kris Kristofferson, Cindy Walker

Music Executives (22): Owen Bradley, Jim Denny, Paul Cohen, Jim Fogelsong, J. L. Frank, Connie B. Gay, Roy Horton, Don Law, Hubert Long, Ken Nelson, Ralph Peer, Sam Phillips, Frances Preston, Fred Rose, Wesley Rose, Arthur E. Satherley, Stephen H. Sholes, Jack Stapp, Cliffie Stone, Grant Turner, Jo Walker-Meador, Bud Wendell

Women in the Hall of Fame: Felice Bryant, Sara Carter, Maybelle Carter, Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Montana, Dolly Parton, Frances Preston, Minnie Pearl, Cindy Walker, Jo Walker-Meador, Kitty Wells, Tammy Wynette.

I found the list by going to Google and entering "Country Music Hall of Fame Inductees" into the search bar. That took me to Wikipedia, the internet encyclopedia.  From there I copied and pasted the information into this email. When you are ready to go see the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum containing hundreds of pieces of memorabilia from sheet music to clothing, instuments to Alan Jackson's fathers's radio ("Daddy won a radio, he won it 30 years ago..." from Alan's song "Neon Rainbow") you can visit us on the web at
www.VacationsMadeEasy.com or call us toll free at 1-800-987-9852.
Thanks, Gracie!
Brenda, CSR

thanks gracie,  it had been a long time since i had checked to see the names  thst are in the HOF.  i will not mention anyone by name buit some i feel should not be there  LOL  while those deserving  are overlooked.  yes i want the stasnleys   anhd the osborn brothers inducted  and there ar many other deserving   folks .  some that are there  may have been good artist  however  my opinion  should at least have been on a waiting list  and not put ahead of the more deserving  (In my opinion) . this reminds me  i need to be piosting more to try and get more signstures  on those petitions. (myspace hyas been a good place for posting and contacting folks
